Ridgeland Apartments and Children’s Program, Family Rescue

Parenting support services as well as support services for survivors of domestic violence. On-site after school center, teen enrichment program, and clinical services for children also available.

Located in Bridgeview, IL and Markham, IL. advocates for victims of domestic violence or dating violence of their rights under the Illinois Domesti Violence Act.

Legal Advocacy, Family Rescue

Assistance for survivors of domestic violence such as counesling, and legal advocacy. Help survivors through the confusing legal issues including child support and Order of Protection, divorce, and child support and custody.

Advocacy and Crisis Intervention, CARE Center

“Medical advocacy is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at hospital emergency rooms.  Whenever a survivor presents at the hospital for treatment, the hospital calls our hotline and we send an advocate out to sit with the survivor.  The advocate offers emotional support, provides information on sexual violence, and gives any necessary referrals.

Legal advocacy is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week wherever needed.  Advocates can support a survivor at the police department, or help a survivor with a case that is currently being prosecuted.  Our staff advocate is very knowledgeable about court proceedings and Illinois law.” -Northwest CASA

Transitioanl housing is the step between emergency short-term housing and permanent housing. Crisis Center for South Suburbia provides apartments, paid for through grants, for clients throughout the community.
